Meet Cute 

Victoria and Jesse matched on tinder in November 2018. Jesse had decided to give the app one more day before he deleted it, after having several less than stellar dates. Victoria had just downloaded the app to search for a long term commitment; and her first match ended up being her future husband. 

First Date

Jesse met at Victoria's house and somehow they ended up watching Texas chainsaw massacre and poltergeist. They stayed up all night talking.

The Proposal

This story requires a little backstory! On their second date, they met at a restaurant in Moscow, ID. Victoria watched as Jesse very excitedly walked towards her in the parking lot and unfortunately hit his knee on a truck hitch. 

For the proposal, Jesse installed a hitch on his vehicle just for the special moment. He suggested a weekend trip to a cozy cabin in Trout Lake that Victoria has fond memories of from her childhood. As they were getting out of the car, Jesse hit his knee on his new hitch and fell down to one knee. It did take a moment for Victoria to notice, though!
